    Question about 1080p t.v with ps3

    What resolution should I set the ps3 to? I have a 1080p t.v, but I don't know if I should enable all of the resolutions or just 1080p. Thanks.

      I think it uses the highest available resolution that you select. For example, if you select them all, and play a game that is NOT 1080p, it will move down to the highest compatible resolution.

      I could be wrong, so hopefully someone else can corroborate my story.

          Don't have a PS3 but that sounds right.

              Yes...this is what it does with mine...
              I have it set for 1080p and never change it...

                  Thanks. One of the developers of MLB 07 The Show said that in order to play the game in 1080p, you should only enable 1080p.

                      For MLB 08, or 07? MLB 07 doesn't support 1080p.
