Well, they're not stupid.
Actually, by current US statistics, 'average' would make them about 20 pounds heavier...
So, if 'average' is a 'C', then you'd have to put them in the 'C+ / B-' range...
Which is prefectly acceptable, since they obviously also get the 'personality bump' of another half grade, ascribed to all women who like sports...
They could also garner further 'extra credit' for:
Being solid drinkers
Having a good job
Being sexually proficient
Being sexually adventurous
Aging better than their contemporaries
Before you know it, any of these three could hit somewhere around a B+ / A-
