To prepare for the role, Heath Ledger lived alone in a hotel room for a month researching the character and developing his performance, which he claims is based upon Sid Vicious and the character of Alex in A Clockwork Orange (1971). It's possible.

It's very possible, though Ledger was always a more hidden and quiet actor even before the role.

Sorry if this sounds insensitive, but he has a child and he isn't in rehab trying to straighten his life out? Very irresponsible and selfish. Now his child has to grow up without a father.

Damn, That does seem very possible. I mean when you live, breathe and act like the Joker it can take a toll on you emotionally.

              Note: It wasn't his apartment.

It was owned by Mary Kate Olsen.

No one knows if he even had a drug problem to begin with, so why would he have to be in rehab?

It doesn't sound insensitive, it just sounds ignorant, in my opinion.

Hell, they just said on CNN that Ledger has never been linked to drugs before in his entire career.

Hmm I hate to speculate but what if they had a wild party, he accidently OD'ed and she ran out the place so she wouldn't get caught in a strange situation.

                        No one knows.

They have a guy from Extra on CNN right now. He, himself, said:

"Here our big thing is couple news and that is one couple we have no information on."

They have no reason why he was there, having a person come to give him a massage at her apartment...when he has one of his own in NY.

Don't know many people who have a wild party with over-the-counter sleeping pills, which is what has been reported on CNN as the pills found at the scene.

                            That's quite the twist. Hmm.

Don't some people mix over the counter stuff with drinks for shzz and giggles? Ah well, either way it's sad.

Like I said it was just speculation on my part.
