    The Birds remake (2009)

Didn't see anything about this yet, so I thought I'd update ya'll.

That's right... Hitchcock is being remade again. Michael Bay is producing. I hope Vince Vaughn doesn't appear out of nowhere popping some mints in his mouth again.

      Why???????

This Martin Campbell guy wouldn't even be worth Hitch's time to meet if he were alive much less remake one of his movies.

Michael Bay remaking a Hitchcock movie is like Hannah Montana covering the Beatles' White Album.

            Exactly, blasphemous.

A more perfect analogy, I cannot think of. Well done.

Nice, though I think the White Album is a bit over bloated myself, but thats off topic.

Looking at Bay's IMDB page, this is his 5th remake already. Does he have an original bone in his body? And that's not counting Transformers, which he technically remade a cartoon.

There was already a The Birds remake. It was a Showtime exclusive movie or something. Wasn't too horrid.

Michael Bay? Martin Campbell? This movie is going to be so bad. Most likely they're going to turn a smart suspenseful movie into a bloated action thriller with cheap, predictable thrills.
