    Papa John's Super Bowl Promotion

Promotion Offers 75% off Pizza if 75 or More Points Are Scored on Sunday

Fans can register for the promotion by either texting “POINTS” to 47272 (4PAPA) or by opting in to receive text offers from Papa John’s via an online account at www.papajohns.com.
“This is Papa John’s way of asking all football fans out there to root just a little bit harder and cheer just a little bit louder for touchdowns…because when time expires, everyone in America can scream ‘WE WON!’” said Nigel Travis, Papa John’s president and chief executive officer. “We pride ourselves on concocting promotions tied to major sporting events that really offer our customers a reason to want to get engaged.”
If 75 or more points are scored in the Big Game, participants will receive a text message from Papa John’s the following day with a unique promo code. All redemptions must be made by ordering online. Complete promotion rules are available at www.papajohns.com.

as the resident papa johns GM .... i must say it's pretty bad that this is the first place from which i've seen this.

just curious, what don't you like about papa johns? i don't order them often as I find mom & pops pizza shops tend to have better pizza but if i'm ordering from a mega-pizza vendor papa johns is high on my list.

          Way too expensive.

I'm local 100% of the time when I'm home, as my local spot sells the best pizza I've had for $8 for a ridiculously huge pizza on Tuesday and Thursday, and I just in general like local pizza better.

If I'm at school though and we get delivery, we go 5-5-5 deal at Dominoes. Not great pizza, but it's decent enough and cheap.

Re: Papa John's Super Bowl Promotion

Papa Johns is far from a great pizza but it'll do in a pinch. When the local stores are closed they are my next option. Like said before local joints have the best pizza and it's funny how no matter what you order from Papa John's it's almost always 20 bucks. Domino's is the absolute worse. Only thing worse or as worse is the local Indian chicken joint pizza. Those guys have no clue how to make a pizza.

BTW, Papa John's is also running another promotion that I guess is in local area only. If the "home team" wins (provided you purchased a pizza that day I think or something) you get a free pizza. They sent a little flyer in the mail the other day. So I'm going to assume it's a NY,NJ,CON,MASS thing.

Papa John's is probably the best chain pizza you can get IMO.

I'm going to have make an addition to my first post. I almost forgot but I think Pizza Hut has better pizza than Papa Johns. Problem is there isn't one around me so it's not an option. Only thing I can get is those personal pizzas at KFC from Pizza Hut

Yeah, but when it's your only choice is a big chain, it's what you go with.

Yeah, that's what we got too. I mean, there's a GREAT local joint... but it's always busy, fairly expensive, doesn't deliver, and is about 20 minutes away.
