    Fred Hickman on ESPNnews

Has anyone seen Hickman on ESPNnews today? He's sporting a giant hoop earring in his ear. Maybe its his way of trying to look young for the ESPN demographic but he looks like a huge homo. Its just odd to see a guy reporting the news with a huge earring in his ear.

Things like this would be why I just listen to it and not actually watch.

To answer your question, no, I haven't seen him, and I've had it on since it started today.

Scottie Pippen's hoop earring is the worst, by far. He looks like a cracked out pimp from the early 90's.

Is that how low Hickman has gotten? I always liked the guy when he was doing the sports show with Nick Charles and Vince Cellini on CNN. I find him to be a very professional and adept sports anchor.

BTW where the hell are Vince Cellini and Nick Charles these days anyways?

Co-sign. Hoop ear rings are just gross, they don't look good on any type of man. I love how tough looking guys wear them. I'm sure MJ and Pipp had a lot to do with that trend.

He basically had to give up regular gigs in order to care for his wife who has severe Multiple Sclerosis. Very sad story because I know his pain. He told his story in an interview on WFAN New York with Tony Paige last year.

Wow didn't know that. Hopefully he's getting a lot of support from family and friends in helping his wife through her difficulties.

This thread is useless without pics.
