    Pimp My Ride

Maybe it's just me...but I wonder if X ever drove away in the car and crashed it. Or if they get their new car back and total it the first week.

I don't know if the episodes on now are new or not...but I'm always amazed by the talent the car shop guys have to do what they do. I am "new school" because I change the oil...and that's about it.

I can't stand that show anymore. The paint jobs always suck, and it's so fake when X first comes to their door. "Wow, I wasn't expecting you at all, but good thing I was perfectly dressed!"

At first it wasn't bad, but then it just got corny...Lets put a coffee maker in your car type stuff...1st that isn't exactly promoting safe driving. It just kept getting worse after that, with them putting 20" rims on cars that didn't look good with them on..

I used to work at a Car Audio & Performance shop & at first the show was cool. You could see the guys on there had real talent & a vision to what they wanted to do...After awhile it changed to a "what will they let us get away with" attitude. They also just started having fun with it, not blaming them I believe that was coming from Producers & higher ups, but the show started off real good & last I saw it was real bad.

I heard the people didn't even get to keep their cars afterwards... WCC would take them back for display purposes, etc., and give them another car. Probably just a dumb rumor, but eh.

I actually though the paint jobs/other work they did on the cars were pretty good, but I totally agree on that second part.

Not only were the winners perfectly dressed like you said, but they were also already wearing a micrphone (you could see it on the back part of their hips) haha.
