    Monopoly: The Movie

It looks like Hollywood has run out of ideas. Kind of reminds me of Rat Race. I would rather they made a Megaman Movie

I wonder who'll play Mr. Moneybags, I mean you can't have a Monopoly movie without him.

Seriously though, WTF has happened to creativity in Hollywood?!

Tho I'm intriged by Scott's next film

Scott's next project will be Nottingham, a Robin Hood re-imagining set to star Russell Crowe. That film is slated to go before camera post-writers' strike.

Personally, I don't think it gets any more creative than making a movie out of a board game.

Though it'd be at least twice as cool if it was Candy Land or Stratego.

Well thinking back on it, CLUE was a pretty good movie. I believe it starred Tim Curry.

                Re: Monopoly: The Movie

I'm thinking this film will be a gritty, uncompromising cyberpunk film, where major corporations rule the world, flying cars advertise a better life, and Harrison Ford hunts robots...

...just kidding. I'd like to see how Ridley is able to pull this off, since he's a visionary with intense attention to detail.

And this is my personal candidate for Mr. Moneybags:

                <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/7Yvb5u6C3-A&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/7Yvb5u6C3-A&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

I mean, just put glasses on him and he'll be perfect!

How many multiple endings did that film have?

And OT: Russell Crowe as Robin Hood? I don't know - I always pictured Robin Hood as a skinny, wily lookin' guy.

I want to say 3 endings...and yeah, Russell Crowe seems too big for a Robin Hood to me. I'd have trouble with Maximus being Robin Hood

3 endings to Clue and I believe when the movie was out in theaters only one ending was shown and it depended on the theater you were in.

I love Clue and to this day I can sit down and watch it eventhough I've already seen it many times. There are some good one liners in there.

                          Pair sign six year pact
                          By MICHAEL FLEMING
Universal Pictures has announced a six-year partnership with Hasbro to produce at least four feature films based on branded properties.

The properties include “Monopoly,” “Candy Land,” “Clue,” “Ouija,” “Battleship,” “Magic, The Gathering” and “Stretch Armstrong.”

The deal comes after the successful screen transformation of the Hasbro property “Transformers,” which DreamWorks and Paramount turned into a Michael Bay-directed global hit, and which has a sequel scheduled to begin production this year.

So now board games will become the new Slasher/Horror films of the industry?
