So Cane was canceled? That's a bummer. I thought it was a pretty good show.

Wow, I completely underestimated how lazy people in Hollywood could be. There is no reason that every show couldn't get some episodes done for the May sweeps.

I think Hollywood owes it to the consumers (American citizens), to complete the seasons as if there were no strike.

We, as consumers, pay money for cable/network/etc.. so we can see these television shows. Therefore, in my opinion, they have the obligation to do right by us, and complete the season this year. There is no rule (as far as I know) that states that a television series must end at a specific time, before they go into summer break and go on hold until the new season.

Just write the new episode scripts, film them, and then show them until the season is finished. If it takes until June or so to film and televise all the episodes, so be it.

What actually constitutes the "new season" start point? Is it driven by the given network? Is it always March? I know when I was a kid new season meant September after the Summer re-runs were over.

I don't know about the others, but I know that the decision about 24 is accurate. My wife works at Fox, and she called today to let me know since I'm a huge 24 fan.

If your wife seriously does work at FOX, can you have her keep tabs on what happens to Prison Break?

I've heard rumors that they [FOX] might end Prison Break due to the low ratings this season. I'm sure they probably wouldn't, but you never know with FOX.

The writers don't have an obligation to do anything and for all the complaints people make about the writing of shows I don't know why people would want them to rush stories just so that new episodes are aired.

Sarah Connor Chronicles - 4 unaired episodes. Highly unlikely to be picked up.

                            Yeah, its a shame.

I had no interest in watching this show until I actually tuned in and saw it. It might not be the greatest show I've ever seen, but it's still a good show. I heard that it got really good ratings in the first few episodes (not sure about the ratings since), so it's weird to see that they are going to dump it so quick.

Can't say that I'm surprised though. FOX is shameless when it comes to cancelling series. Hell, they cancelled that immortal cop show (something Amsterdam) before they even aired a single episode...this coming after they advertised the hell out of it. But now they are advertising it again, because FOX has nothing else to air.

Prison Break is done after next week, Sarah Connor Chronicles could be done according to that site, K-Ville is over, House is done soon, Bones is coming back for a couple of episodes... All they really have is American Idol. I'm surprised they don't air that every night.
