Gone Baby Gone

Did a search and couldn't find a thread for this. Just watched it last night and thought it was excellent. Great acting and directing. Characters were very real, deep, and believable. Excellent story and plenty of memorable scenes. Reminded me somewhat of Mystic River but I have to say I liked 'Gone' much better.

I really liked this movie too. I thought the ending was great simply because it was so thought provoking.

Yes, very impressive work by both Afflecks. In terms of the other cast, I thought Ed Harris was particularly awesome.

I haven't seen "Gone" but they are both based on books by Dennis Lehane. Great books IMO. He has some other good ones too.

I remember seeing this a little awhile ago. Lehane's books are really good and Mystic River and GBG really capture the feel of the books...Casey did a remarkable job acting in this one, and as mentioned before Ed Harris was also particularly strong.

You can definitely tell both those movies are from the same author. They both are great movies too, I'd place Mystic River slightly ahead of Gone Baby Gone.

Very, very good movie. As mentioned, it's definitely easy to tell the same author wrote both this book and Mystic River. Casey Affleck did a great job in this flick, and big brother Ben did a great job with the screenplay and directing.

wow....this was good. Very good. Casey Affleck puts Ben to shame in the acting dept. and maybe Ben has found his niche staying off the screen.

Just got done watching this film. I have to say, I agree with the people on here it was a great movie. Casey was good in the movie, played his role nice and what can you say about Morgan Freeman...did a great job heck everyone in the movie played their roles good.

Ben Affleck I believe have found his card. Direct and write, let Casey do the acting.
