    Computer Problem!

This seems to happen every 3-4 months to my computer. All of sudden everything I download (zip file, rar file, exe file, anything) will say it is corrupted and won't work. Things I already have on my computer work but I can't get anything new to. This is like the fourth time this has happened. I always just end up wiping the computer clean and starting over from scratch, but I would love to avoid that. Has anyone had anything like this happen? AVG says I don't have a virus. And when I try to download a spyware scanner it says its corrupt so I can't scan for spyware. Any help would be appreciated.

Not to hijack your thread but there is no point in my creating another one...

Okay I just had something weird happen. When I was syncing my iPhone, my pc turned off and the reboot button light was yellow'ish orange and it wouldn't let me turn it back on until a minute or two had pass (it's done this twice now)

    Any idea why?

Sounds like your motherboard is going out or a power supply issue.

Eeek hope it's not my mother board. How much would that cost me?

If it's the mother board, any reason why it only happened when the iphone was plugged in? If I am browsing the net or whatever, I have not had the problem.

How would I go about seeing if it's the power supply and if so what do I need to do to fix it?

Is it under warranty still? I would contact the manufacturer.

Anybody ever have a problem with their keyboard?

                - for example you hit one key and multiple characters come out? Such as that i hit the letter "i" and multiple character "iwreqr" come out.

I thought it was a virus but i have run AVG anti spyware, Super Anti Spyware, windows defender, etc.
