I doubt they would announce it before releasing the theatrical blu rays. I'm sure they will, hopefully next year.

Pirates of the Caribbean's Blu-Ray box isn't lying when it says it's the best picture and sound.

Those three movies collectively are the best transfer I've seen so far. If you remember to change the audio to the uncompressed version, that is. It defaults to puny Dolby Digital 5.1 for some reason. But the uncompressed track... oh my god.

FYI: The Minority Report is $10 at Best Buy. One of my favorite sci-fi movies. It got perfect scores for video and audio quality: http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Minori...y/8685/#Review

              Sale: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Minority...&ref=39&loc=01

EDIT: I believe this is for today only. YMMV

Does anyone have Pearl Harbor on Blu-Ray, I watched it yesterday on AMC and figured it has to be amazing on Blu-Ray.

Now you've got me interested in buying it, but I've already seen it so much that I'm not sure how much I like it anymore.

I think I'll cave if I make my way over there today.

                      The Michael Bay/Ben Affleck one?

At a certain point, I don't care how good the PQ and AQ are, no thanks.

This movie NEEDS High Definition. I've been waiting forever for it to be released. Any word?

I have over 120 HD DVDs

Of which...I paid more than 15 bucks for ONE of them.

119 High Definition Movies for basically nothing.

                          I LOVE fire sales.

I have 2 HD DVD players and my PS3 Blu Ray. I'm all set.

How trust worthy is buying Used movies off of Amazon. They have Reservoir Dogs on there on Blu-Ray for 3.57

How AWESOME is it that they're releasing it on "October 26"?

You should be fine. One of the overlooked advantages of blu ray is the scratch resistance. Not sure about Amazon but all blu rays I've gotten used that WEREN'T rentals have been in great shape. People could care less about how they treat rentals and I'd stay away from.
