Just watched The Last Starfighter on HD DVD. Awesome PQ on this. An old fav of mine from when I was a kid.

I've really been impressed with the quality of the transfer on my HD DVDs. The Mummy movies, The Matrix Trilogy, The Untouchables....these movies look absolutely pristine in HD.

I'm gonna pop in The Shining tonight and see how it looks. Not bad for less than a DVD.

Finally got around to watching Beowulf. Good movie, outstanding PQ and AQ, but not good enough to turn down a 2 for 1 trade. Bye bye.

If you're a horror movie fan and still on the HD-DVD bandwagon, you MUST have Land of the Dead. Watched it today. Awesome movie.
Picked it up for $9 using a half.com $5 coupon.

Which means, I can now give half.com $5 coupons out, so if anyone needs some just PM me.

My copies of Dan In Real Life, No Country For Old Men and Reign Over Me on Blu came in today. Man, what a good movie Dan In Real Life is. Looking forward to watching the others.
