October 29th - In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3
October 30th - Good Apollo I'm Burning Star IV, Volume One: From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness
October 31st - Special Acoustic Show/Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume Two: No World for Tomorrow

It's pretty much going to be the greatest show ever. Even if you don't like the band, you have to admit that the concept of what they are doing is pretty damn cool. And for only $125, that's not bad at all.

As always seems to be the case, I'm going more for the two opening acts rather than the headliner

I saw Drive-By Truckers last night with the Avett Brothers. First off, the Avett Brothers are absolutely amazing live - they blew me away. Their mix of old time-country/bluegrass punk, rock, and basically balls to the wall performing was superb. I definitely recommend checking these guys out if they come through.

Drive-By Truckers were awesome, as well. The encore was definitely the best encore set I've ever seen.

<hr style="color: transparent; background-color: transparent;" size="1"> <!-- / icon and title --> <!-- message --> So, I just got back from seeing Angels and Airwaves here in Vegas, and all I can say is that Tom Delonge thinks he is the greatest gift to music since the birth of sound. The only parts of the show that I was actually impressed with was when he came out solo, and played a Blink song, and a Boxcar song, and then when they played "The Adventure". What pissed me off the most was him trying to sound like Robert Smith the whole time. This show really disappointed me. What happened to the cool, fun loving guy from Blink-182? Get the **** over yourself!

Hopefully, they'll be better tonight since I'm gonna see them open up for Weezer.

Tomorrow night I'm going to the Staind concert in Southaven, MS. Which also features Seether, Papa Roach and Red. Staind is one of my favorites, as is Seether, so I'm definitely looking forward to it.

I'm going to see Weezer next Thursday (my birthday) for the third time. Should be a good show from everything I have read about it...can't wait. Last time I saw them with the Foo Fighters as the headliner, so this time will be a bit of a let down with Angels and Airwaves, but Weezer get's to headline this time so it should be a pretty rockin' show.

Weezer was AWESOME in San Diego. Are they doing the contest in your city to bring musicians on stage? That was one of the coolest things I've ever seen.
