    jim416's book "Angels From Vietnam

    Hey guys,

I just got a hold of the book Angel From Vietnam by Jim Stewart from Jim himself (our own jim416) got the book yesterday afternoon, and finished all of it this evening.

It was an amzing read. It told the story of how a young countryboy became a man and all the struggles and strife that came along with it. It was a beautiful story.

Here is my email to Jim tonight right after the book.

I recommend this book to read for everybody....you will be missing out on something if you don't .

Anyways, here is my email to the author:

    ------------------------------------------------------------------

    hey jim,

I just finished your book. I really enjoyed reading about your life and it really touched me the things that you had to deal with. I feel so proud and happy to know you. From the forums at OS, I could tell you were a good guy just by reading your posts, but after reading your book, you could imagine how I view you as a person. During my time reading, I laughed, I laughed really hard, I cried, and I laughed and cried at the same time. I haven't read a book that made me do ALL of that. During the reading, you really took me back to wherever you were in the book. It was a really neat feeling. You're one hell of a writer!

I just felt a lot of things reading this book, sense of family, struggles and love. And after every episode, i would tell it to my wife, and i'd say to her ' HEY, I know this guy' and she was like ' you're so lucky to know the author of the book you are reading. She's on chapter one as I write this email. heheh

The times when when you were ragged for your double chin...that was hysterical
The time when you first met Mai....it felt like a movie
And the return home after 4 years. I could really sense your desperation.

Anyways, I will say a prayer tonight for you and your whole family. God is the answer to all of our problems. You have no idea how you have touched me Jim. Especially nowadays when me and the wife are planning for a family of our own. Wow, is all I have to say...
