momentousceltic, where are you? This is perfect .gif material lol."Maybe I can't win. But to beat me, he's going to have to kill me. And to kill me, he's gonna have to have the heart to stand in front of me. And to do that, he's got to be willing to die himself. I don't know if he's ready to do that." -

Apparently, they did this because he peeked at his presents, and they gave him the 360 later.NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers

Poor dude.
My parents tried to do that to me one year. It was a time when I had a real bad attitude with my parents when I was in 6th grade, and didnt deserve ANYTHING for Christmas and I knew it. I opened up gift wrap full of clothes and clothes and clothes. My mom told me to look in my stocking (at the time we had a PSX), and there was a Dreamcast game, NBA 2K. My mom said "look...you got a new video game! what can you do on it?".
I said "Mom...we don't have a Dreamcast. I can't play this on the PSX". She acted all sorry and whatnot, saying "I guess I'll have to take it back and get you another game".
My dad reached in the closet and pulled out a Dreamcast.Last edited by 3rdAnswer; 03-01-2008, 12:24 PM.-Jay Illestrate, Emcee/Producer/Graphic Artist

LOL.
I've seen this already but I laugh every time he gives his mom that glare.
This will be classic material for that family when he gets older. Don't really see the need to call them douche bags, being that he still got the 360. Even if he didn't, it's still hilarious.

I think somebody posted it awhile ago. I don't get why people act like they're horrible parents when he did what they told him not to and still got his present.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Yea, this was posted before but it's getting attention now for some reason. G4 posted this as well on Attack of the Show.
If the kid peeked then he got what he deserved. That being said, I'm pretty sure if they have the box then they have the console. Probably playing a trick on the kid.
For all we know the kid is a huge prankster and had it coming. Hurts when you can't take what you dish."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

I'm pretty sure people leaving babies in cars in excessive heat/cold would qualify as worst parents before these people, not to mention the people who kill their own kids, but whatever. And the kid got the Xbox, he just had a prank pulled because he peeked early.Listen to some of my covers:

The parents aren't that bad they gave the kid a slice of humble pie. That's what you get for peeking at your presents and hey, he still got the X360 in the end anyways so it's all good.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club
