Re: Anyone have ATT Uverse TV?

Re: Anyone have ATT Uverse TV?
Correct. The only TV you can pause Live TV on is the one with the DVR. You can pause recorded shows or currently recording shows from any TV with a receiver.Comment

Re: Anyone have ATT Uverse TV?
Well, you can pause live TV on the DVR itself, but not the other boxes. The easy way around it, I press record on a show I'm watching say in my family room without the DVR, then watch it "live" through the recording, giving me the ability to pause/rewind live TV on any TV in my house. We did that for the Super Bowl, worked great.Comment

do all of the receiver have to have cable running to them or do they connect wireless to the main receiver? My Fan Page http://theusualgamer.net/MyFanPage_Heelfan71.aspx

Re: Anyone have ATT Uverse TV?
There's a main hub box that connects them all. Basically like this, phone line comes into hub, hub out to one box. Hub then has a line going back to the a distribution box like those black cable boxes for cable. Those go to the other tvs. The hub is in your house, handles your phone and wireless Internet as well.Comment

The cable box also has an ethernet port, and it can be used instead of coax. In addition, I talked with a guy when he was at my house, and they will be rolling out wifi cable boxes that connect to the main hub as well.Comment

Don't listen to installers, there are no wi-fi boxes coming.Comment

Re: Anyone have ATT Uverse TV?
I am tempted to make the switch from Comcast to U-Verse.......I spoke to someone on this and it sounds like I would be saving about $25 or so dollars, which is not a whole lot......but it helps. I currently get 10 up on the net speed through comcast, has everyone been happy with their internet speed?
I was told that you do not share the net speed with the rest of the neighbors as you do with cable on the block since everyone is grouped by nodes. Is this true?
The multi-room box setup is enticing. Do they charge you for the extra boxes or do they come as a part of the deal?
Is FX HD and USA HD part of the package too?
My last question, with online gaming how well are the speeds?Comment

I have the 10 down package, no issues with speed. It's DSL, so it's not shared.
Boxes are $7 a piece, I'm grandfathered in when you got 2 boxes free, but each box is essentially a DVR, remember that.
We have 112 HD channels, yes, just about every HD channel sans MLB HD is included.
I have never had an issue with gaming with it. When I had my PS3, I would download 1 gig demos in 10-15 minutes tops.Comment
