Yeah, they keep growing. They are hopeful to have it nationwide in the next few years.

I pay a little more, I pay $114, but I have the highest speed net, showtime, starz, encore, movie channel.

I'd never go back to cable after having U-Verse.

You guys have HD DVR's with that price, right? All I have now is 2 HD boxes, and 1 regular box that works 2 TV's. I'm hoping it comes to the Atlanta/Athens area soon. I've been with ATT since they merged with BellSouth.

Every U-Verse box is a HD box. One DVR, it's a 4 tuner.

I got confirmation yesterday that Whole Home DVR will hit Austin, TX, on September 19th with a software update.

Cleveland got Whole Home DVR last night. Freaking LOVE IT! Watching recorded shows on any TV in the house, pausing on one TV to only pick up on the other TV. Genius!

Next year DVR functions come to every box as well. Right now you can just watch recorded tv, pausing, FF, rewinding, etc. But can't do it on Live TV or set up recordings.

They also grouped all the DVR recordings into folders, which is also awesome. I had 4 The Shield's all going into one folder. So instead of having 40 shows to go through, I have like 7 folders, with all the shows grouped by title.

My in Law's have it. One thing I like is that when you hit guide, you can get a live preview in the bottom corner of the other channels as you scroll through them. So if you are switching back between two games (or just two programs), you can see if the other one is actually on or if is on a commercial break at the time withou having to actually switch channels.

I'm begging my parents to just get U-Verse for their home cause their WideOpenWest cable just sucks now. The HD channels are always lagging and some of the normal channels cut out. I know I had some issues with U-Verse when it showed up in Kent a year ago, but I know from talking to people that its gotten a ton better as they've spread throughout NE Ohio.

U-Verse is adding close to 40 HD channels on/around 11/3. They are also adding the 19 Voom channels by year's end. Those 59 channels will give them around 120 HD channels by year's end.

That would be my big selling point since Im always recording something on one DVR and then I end up wanting to watch it in another room and cant.

I didnt see anyone mention the internet, how is it? I have comcast right now so Im curious to see how good the Uverse internet is.

The net blows away when I had Time Warner. I have 6 down, 1 up. Had the 10 down 1.5 up, but didn't see the difference to pay more.
