For those of you not familiar with SW, they had some big alternative rock hits in the 90's with "What Do I Have to Do?", "Save Yourself", and one of my favorite songs "Shame". If you're a fan of NIN, Filter (Short Bus album), Ministry, etc., check both bands out.

Any Stabbing Westward fans, check out The Dreaming
Former Stabbing Westward lead singer Christopher Hall is in a new band called The Dreaming. They just released their debut album "Etched in Blood." Right now it can be purchased from the band's website (www.myspace.com/thedreaming) and from Itunes. I downloaded the album this weekend, and if you're a fan of SW, you'll like The Dreaming. The electronic elements of SW are pretty much gone, but it still has that hard rocking feel, matched with the familiar sound of Hall's vocals.

Re: Any Stabbing Westward fans, check out The Dreaming
I liked Stabbing Westward in high school, but I think I outgrew them. How much mileage can a band get out of a bad breakup? I checked out The Dreaming for the hell of it because they were playing near my house but I didn't like what I heard. It sounded like the same Stabbing Westward formula, minus the industrial elements, and decorated with makeup. To each his own, though.
