The question is, however, was it legal? Hulu is 100% legal.

There are PLENTY of sites where you can stream tons of shows, but most are illegal.

        Re: Hulu

^^ That sucks, I have cable and a DVR and use Hulu out of convenience only. Now with that being said, I wouldn't mind paying a small monthly subscription if they dropped the ads and had full seasons.

However, If they leave it in it's current format and expect people to pay, then they are crazy and the site will die, IMO!

It basically turns your cpu into a server. It will send the signal to your Wii, XBox 360, PS3 or XBox with XBMC installed on it or any DLNA-compliant networked media devices.

They were running a special recently for half price and they may do it again. I think you can get a fully functioning trial version for a limited time. It is a resource hog and unless you have a pretty good machine, it will struggle.

You'd also have to have accounts at some of the programs/plugins that they have built in. There is also a site for 3rd party (unsupported) plug-ins:

            Re: Hulu

Well, hulu isn't the only way to watch shows online - I personally wouldn't a subscription to watch these shows - at least not shows I can watch for free anyway. I really only use hulu if I missed a show. Its not the only way I keep up.

When they start charging, I'll stop watching.

                  Re: Hulu

I only used Hulu to stream dollhouse episodes while i'm browsing the net to get the numbers up, and some anime, but if they're going to charge with the amount of content they have it won't be worth it.
