Hey I have a question: is this thing going to only be sold at UFO conventions and the like or will it gain a wider release?

It will be selling online and on amazon eventually but I'm also in talks with a distributor!

Definitely interested in seeing the Documentary in it's entirety.

When do you plan to release the DVD? How much will it be going for?

It will be going on sale very soon maybe even tomorrow still figuring out a MO tax law just about all finished! I own my own company now will my brother and I do. Missouri Productions, LLC

Oh and we will be sellling it for 20.00 and I believe the first 100 will be autographed by Ted Phillips.

Thank you threeking I tried pming you about the progress but I think your pms are dissabled. It certainly feels good to get my first doc finished and more to come if the DVD sells well. Ted wants to do a Documentary on the Tatra Mountains Slovakianext he went there few years ago and has a lot of footage! Some really amazing research. Hopefully he gets on Coast 2 Coast soon to advertise the DVD!! I'm pretty excited about the DVD and hope to get some fresh information out.

I think this doc really stands out because it is brand new information not "Roswell Revisited for the 1000th time" and Ted is a legend!

Just got word from my bro we already sold a few in New Mexico he is there with Ted Phillips and crew currently!

I really love UFO Docs. But the one thing that bugs me is when its over it always seems like all the questions were left unanswered. But i guess no one has real answers.

That is a great comment valid point! True no one has the real 100% answers yet but this doc is a very good intro to the crazy amounts of UFO and other phenomenons that occur at The Marley Woods! I've been there my self a very active place. Ted has been doing research there for years quite remarkable and the local people even write down sighting times and take video. I imagine we will for sure do another doc just on The Marley Woods to hopefully ANSWER a lot questions. Also half the profits will go to the research/funding and other half to my company .

triplej-congrats man. whenever i witness someone express themselves artistically weather it be film,music, etc it really makes me proud. The fact that you put this together to completion on its own is a feat to be proud of. i look forward to seeing the film as the content interests me as im a ufo nut but regardless of what the content is, you did more than most people could with less. congrats.

I'd have to say - redo the trailer.

I don't believe in UFOs from space visiting Earth for a second (assuming that's the sort of UFO your film is referring to), so I'm not really the target audience here, but the trailer just felt really clumsy and confused. Like random words tossed out that you could barely put together. Especially in the last part of it "Legend in the Field" "Ted Philips" "Into" The Marlay Woods". It was all really choppy and just sounded entirely awkward.

If I hadn't found it from this thread, and knew what it was about already, I'd have had no clue what was going on and if it was a joke, or what.

The filming itself looked pretty good, and the sound sounded good, but the trailer was just really messy. I'd suggest redoing it if you want to catch people's attention.

I think your main problem is it's at least a full minute too short. Looking at youtube, I can tell you that most movie trailers seem to be anywhere from 1:55 to 2:30 long, while yours is just :55. I'd suggest making it longer, and maybe adding some voice overs, and just show the most "intriguing" clips from the movie. So it all makes sense, and gives the viewer a better of idea of what it actually is.

Thanks a lot Renegade and I agree with you people expressing themselves artistically certainly makes me proud too! I have a quite a few other things in the works and my brother and I just formed our own LLC "Missouri Productions".

Hey Timmay I agree with some of what you said and always appreciate constructive criticism! Like you said you aren't my target audience and I doubt this will sell to "skeptics" of any kind which is ok and I do plan on remaking the trailer.

This is by no means a typical trailer but it isn't your typical film or doc but I also made it in 4 hours! Which is kind of crazy most big budget films spend weeks on their trailer. I really just hurried to put something together for Ted Phillips so he could bring to his lecture last weekend (we sold some dvds there too!) He said everyone loved it but I plan on redoing the trailer in the weeks comming espeically after some radio shows and we get some reviews by some high profile people! It is more like a product advertisment mixed with some trailer aspects .

I must say I'm glad you still watched it, thanks!

Few updates....

Ted Phillips will be on Coast to Coast am tonight talking a lot about our projects and the DVD. Speaking of the DVD I'm working on a 2nd cut(1st cut I will sell for 10.00) and just 3 weeks ago we got some amazing footage and photos(taken by me) of a amber UFO.
