Prison Break fans, prepare to seriously lose your heads.

Sarah Wayne Callies — whose rather ugly contract dispute with producers led to her apparent decapitation last October — is returning next season. Full-time. As Dr. Sara Tancredi. Head and all. Seriously.

How? Why? When? WTF?! All legitimate questions. Good thing I just hung up with Mr. Answer Man (aka executive producer Matt Olmstead).

So... I take it that wasn't Sara's head in that box....
Matt Olmstead: Yeah, that wasn't.

But initially it was supposed to be her head. What changed?
Olmstead: What changed was.... once we realized that the emotional hook of Season 3 was going to be the death of Sara, when we didn't get the actress to do it, as soon as we wrote it and shot it, we realized that there was actually a way she could still be alive. Lincoln glanced at the head in the box for a split second. That could've been anyone.

So, we're supposed to believe that Lincoln wouldn't recognize the face of someone he is close to? Linc is either certified mentally ******** or the dumbest man in world history.

And now we're also supposed to believe that when L.J. told Linc he saw that villainous women (I can't remember her name) kill Sara, that he too made a mistake?

What the hell?

Maybe I'm overreacting, but I don't see how there's a plausible explanation for any of this.

I think Prison Break just jumped the shark. I'll still watch, hoping to be proven wrong, but this is terrible news.

Actually after seeing the pain Michael went through after Sara's death I'm kind of glad she is alive. This is not "jump the shark" stuff.

The spoiler tags is a good idea, and I should have thought of it. However, anyone who clicks on a "Major Spoilers" thread gets what they deserve if they learned something they didn't want to know. Next time, however, I will use the tags.

I agree, I don't mind with Prison Break since the beginning it has been one surprise after another.

Ugh, definitely not a fan of this move.

The Company just lost all it's credibility. That whole deal was what completely made me believe they were 100% evil. Not anymore.

That said, I still love this show.

What pisses me off even more is that the producers even said they had originally planned to kill Sara off, they were just forced to do it sooner than they wanted due to the contract dispute. Yes, I believe the way she was killed off (err, wasn't?) was bad, because we never got that emotional farewell with the character. We didn't even see her (real Sarah Wayne Callies) at all in season 3. However, bringing her back just destroys "The Company" storyline. No where near as threatening as before. IE: Why should I believe they were going to open fire on Michael, Lincoln, LJ, and Sophia when they were leaving the Museum, if they never beheaded Sara?

I don't think they lose any evil points. Keeping Sara alive is the smart thing to do down the road-gives them more leverage.

I agree, I think that this will give them more leverage and make things even more interesting knowing that she is not dead. I love this show.

If Sara is alive, the entire Company storyline dies. Once Michael gets Sara back, he won't have any reason to go after The Company. They wouldn't have taken anything from him except a few months of his time, and a father he knew for 25 minutes. Yes, he will be pissed, but not to the point where he would go out for revenge. But with Sara dead, he had that fire to get revenge. They were ready to leave after Season 2 and take no revenge, but Sara dying in season 3 gave them the motivation to get revenge. With her being alive, what's the motivation?

I just don't like the move. Yes, I will absolutely love to see Sara back, as I was a big Michael/Sara fan (call me girly, but I like the "love" theme to the show). However, I feel the show has lost it's edge in the "evil" theme. If The Company wouldn't kill Sara, I can't take them seriously to keep their word. And If I can't take them seriously, how am I to believe they will actually kill Michael, Lincoln, LJ, and Sara?

I especially hate how they are now saying she's alive, even though they came out and said she was dead. Not just producers, but the actors themselves came out and told us Sara Wayne Callies bitched out, so they killed her off.

Okay, I am going to retract my statements (somewhat) and say I am excited as hell for this news.

I really liked the Sara/Michael relationship, so this definitely is a positive in that form. I'm still disappointed with the way everything's been handled (too little "evidence" to show that she could be brought back. Everything they did made it look like she was really dead, so bringing her back kinda looks cheesy). With that said though, I can't wait to see Michael and Sara get back together. Without Sara, Michael truly had nothing other than Lincoln, LJ, and Sucre.

Yeah.

If they bring her back in an elegant form, and make it right, It could be good news. If they screw it up, this news could potentially be awful.

As long as it's done correctly and elegantly, things could play out nicely.

I don't want to see any bull****, like Michael walking into a bar and seeing Sara there drinking an appletini. I want it done right.
