Re: The Arrested Development Thread
I was as vocal and as obnoxious as one can possibly be when this show was on the air. If somebody even walked past a tv or said a word with t or v in it, I would pimp out Arrested Development and preach about it. It's really the best comedy of all time and I don't think that it's even close. Almost every episode is perfect (Martin Short episode misses with me) and I can still remember watching the final four episodes when they were tossed away against the openings of the Olympic ceremonies a few years ago. I had wings, fries, pizza and everything else I wanted to eat for my one man party.
It drives me nuts that, even though the ending was done BRILLIANTLY, the show was cancelled. The line must be drawn HERE! This far, no further!Comment

Re: The Arrested Development Thread
I just watched 6 episodes on netflix yesterday...was a good comedy, can't believe I didn't watch it when it was on. Not sure it is one of the greatest though, but still goodComment

Re: The Arrested Development Thread
Watching this show from beginning to end with my girlfriend now. It's truly one of the best ever, especially if you've watched the whole thing... the constant callbacks to previous jokes and situations make nearly every second of the show hilarious.
The "sad walk" is one of my favorite things ever. Whenever something doesn't go my way, I like to walk away like that with the music playing in my head.Send your Midnight Release weirdo pics/videos to my new website: http://www.peopleofmidnightreleases.com!Comment

Tobias was always my favorite part of the show. Those things he'd say about other guys without even realizing how it sounded were a freakin' riot man.Streaming PC & PS5 games, join me most nights after 6:00pm ET on TwitchTV https://www.twitch.tv/shaunh20

Also when George Michael thought George Sr. was wearing a wig disguise, and it flashes back to "Give Pop Pop your hair!"

"NO TOUCHING!"
"I've made a huge mistake."
"Caw-ca-caw-ca-caw-ca-caw"
"A cloodle-oodle-oo a cloodle-oodle-oo"
"Coo-coo ga-cha! Coo-coo ga-cha!"
"Cha-chi cha-chi cha-chi!"
Heheh, also Barry Zuckercorn is probably my favorite character in the whole show... so awesome. Watched the first episode again... the bit with George Sr. talking to Michael killed me after seeing the rest of Barry's antics:
George Sr. "They can't arrest a husband and wife for the same crime."
Michae: "Preety sure that's not true."
George Sr. "Really? I got the worst ****ing attorneys..."
Barry's antics stand in stark contrast to the professionalism of Mr. Wayne Jarvis. "I shall hide behind that garbage can."
The Cornballer burning someone at least twice every time it appears is another of my favorite throwbacks.Last edited by Stumbleweed; 04-12-2010, 06:55 PM.Send your Midnight Release weirdo pics/videos to my new website: http://www.peopleofmidnightreleases.com!Comment
