I agree, hotlinking disabled is an awesome dance. There is, of course, this, though.

Then again, I'm not convinced yet. We've been talking about all this stuff for a long time, and I won't be convinced until I see new episodes of AD on my TV.

Great, but 2013 is a long time away.

2013 is a long time but it'll be here before you even know it. And then it'll be 2014 and we'll be sad again.
"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

"You'll not find more penny-wise/pound-foolish behavior than in Major League Baseball." - Rob Neyer

So, I was an idiot and missed the show the first time it came around. I got a chance thanks to Netflix to watch it the last two years, and love it. It's pretty rare for a show to be cancelled and actually be brought back, so that says a lot about the following this show has.

Would've been satisfied with just a movie, but 10 episodes?? Awesome if it actually comes to fruition

So is this real life? Did I just read what I think I read? If this actually happens I will die I'd be so happy. Hell just the movie would've been good enough for me, but another limited season sounds fantastic.

                                Re: The Arrested Development Thread

At an “Arrested Development” reunion event on Sunday, Mr. Hurwitz said he was planning 9 or 10 episodes of a television series that would reintroduce the show’s characters and lead into a possible film.

So, Mr. Hurwitz said, “We’re trying to do a limited-run series into the movie.” After a wave of excited applause died down, he continued, “We’re basically hoping to do nine or 10 episodes, with almost one character per episode.”
The first episode, he said, could focus on Buster Bluth, the deeply neurotic brother played by Tony Hale. “The latest joke we have,” Mr. Hurwitz said, “is that it’s Cambridge, Mass., and there’s all these scientists in lab coats and they’re waiting for somebody. Buster comes through the door in a white lab coat – ‘Let’s begin’ – and they say, ‘Oh, no, you don’t get to wear the lab coat. We’re experimenting on you.’ ”
I cracked up at that joke it sounds so perfect.
