One of the finest actors of his generation. I may not agree with his politics but he was one of the brightest stars to ever grace the Hollywood screen.

The man represented his politics well and handled his profession....well, professionally. Apes had one of the best endings to a movie for its' time and The Ten Commandments is timeless. His talent will be missed.

He was certainly his own man. A civil rights activist who marched with Dr.King in the early 60's only to endorse Barry Goldwater in the 1964 presidential election.
