The magazine itself is decent bathroom reading material and if it comes with Insider too, no way is it not a great deal.

I definitely wouldn't have paid full price for it, though.......

ESPN The Magazine still is overpriced at $3 per year. Perfect toilet reading, as Playa said, because the content matches the brown stuff falling out of your rear as you read it.

I can't stand ESPN The Magazine either, BUT having access to Insider for that cheap is great. I rely on SI and Sporting News.

I must be in the minority; I generally like reading the ESPN Magazine... I rarely use the Insider function on ESPN even though I have it as part of my subscription; it's just a bunch of articles from different papers around the country. I may use it some to peruse the NFL Draft stuff, but that's about it.
