Was searching for Dune stuff

and came across this.

I don't remeber seeing this as I did watch this show when I was younger thought it was funny.

Here is the original Dune end credits from the 1984 movie for those not familiar with it and don't understand the spoof.

I was looking for an opening sequence that was not in the movie but was part of an opening sequence when it was first shown on TV 20 years ago. I can't find it anywhere. At the time it came on WPIX in new york which is the WB channel now. It was a special intro with a man narratting about the back story of DUNE while they showed illustrations as he spoke. I still can't find it.

Well I finally found it.

Any one else like the movie or read the books. The movie got alot of bad reviews, though as a child when I saw it I really was enthralled by it and the story music and all. Seeing it now as an adult it obviously does not hold up well. Though I still find it interesting.

It also relates to the oil crisis in the middle east in a way.

I guess this is where they got the idea for Mother Brain in the Metroid series.
