Anyone know how I can listen without going through the Sirius website? It's blocked at work and I want to listen to Stern somehow.

I didn't think you could listen to Stern or other premium channels without an account and a boombox or radio. I know I wasn't able to pick up NFL games online-just the music.

You're still correct for NFL games and most "entertainment" channels, but they added the ability to listen to Stern online a while ago which is GREAT.

Dookie, I used a Yahoo "widget" last year that let me connect to Sirius without going to the web site.. It was nice since it never timed out, so I didn't get that annoying "are you still listening?" message all day long. Granted, my work computer got messed up a while back and it stopped working... but when it did it was great! I don't know much about widgets either, but it wasn't hard to set up. Definitely worth googling it and giving is a shot.

I used to listen to Stern everyday online at until the site was blocked. I do have the online subscription though...

Just trying to find another way to get the player without going into Sirius website since it's blocked.

I'll try to find that on Yahoo..

Wonder if I downloaded a different browser (IE is the one used at work) if I could get to it?

I think they look to see what sites we visit etc though, because they knew people were listening to online radio going to myspace etc...

I have used Yahoo widgets in the past, but I don't know if that would fix your problem because they might still be getting the music from the same place. This is the one I used to use though: http://www.siriustuner.com/

What's funny is that my work now blocks the Yahoo widgets from working, but they don't block me from listening straight from Sirius's website.

Someone told me about thsi site.

he has the complete shows up. They are a day behind. So tomorrows show won't be up until tonight or tomorrow, but that will have to do I guess.

I believe that if your cell phone is windows based or iPhone u can stream from that from the phone browser or add-ons. I know that you can subscribe to XM through AT&T. Forgot the ppc phone dedicated site. Do a search on google you should be able to find a widget/plugin.

yeah I tried my iPhone eariler going straight to Sirius, but I couldnt' get any audio. Maybe I needed to wait a little longer since it was using edge and not wi-fi?
