    2.1GHz or 2.4GHz processor?

I'm getting a new MacBook soon, and I don't know whether or not I should go for the one 2.1GHz Intel Core 2 Duo or the 2.4GHz processor.

This is what I'm deciding between:

    $1099
    2.1GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 3MB shared L2 cache
    1GB (two 512MB) of 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM (PC2-5300); supports up to 4GB
    120GB Serial ATA; 5400 rpm

    $1299
    2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 3MB shared L2 cache
    2GB (two 1GB) of 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM (PC2-5300); supports up to 4GB
    160GB Serial ATA; 5400 rpm

Hard drive space isn't really a big deal to me, as 120GB is plenty. Also, I'll be buying 4GB of RAM from NewEgg anyway, so it's not a big deal how much RAM I get from Apple.

Basically, it comes down to the processor. How much more performance would I get from the 2.4GHz one as opposed to the 2.1GHz? Enough to warrant an extra $200?

Yes. Looks like a pretty good deal considering all the other things you get. It's not like 300 mhz is no big deal, that's a decent increase and well worth the money imo. And I think you'll care about the hdd size, as it is it seems like plenty, but I got a 160 over 120 and I only have around 7 more gigs left, I've had my laptop for about 8 months.
