    MP3fiesta.com

    This site is the shiznit!

I came across it by accident today and damn..I'm glad I did.

Similar to ITunes, but entire albums are 99 cents...tracks are 10 cents.

If you are LEGALLY downloading music and looking for a good site, check it out.

Very good library of albums and they have a TON of great rare albums, like live Radiohead, Tool, etc.

I got 274 songs (Pixies, Radiohead, Jeff Buckley, Monster Magnet, Sia, Alice In Chains, Trentemoller)...legally....for 19 bucks.

    AA,
Do you know if you get the cover art for the album for any purchased tracks from this site?

      Yup.

And the few tracks that I didnt, I just looked up some artwork in the Itunes Store and typed it in then downloaded the artwork.

The payment system is different though. You "fill up your account" with either 20, 30, or 40 bucks at a time. In other words, you have to spend at least 20 bucks, but damn...it's like a friggin' shopping spree. Entire albums for a dollar? Are you effing kidding me?

I think I'll be using that more than Itunes now. The songs can go directly into your Itunes library too. Easy integration.

          Wow...great find, AA!

Having to prepay is not so bad, because you are allowed to SEARCH before you commit any $. I am AMAZED by their older stuff that I am interested in from the 70's and 80's!

I thought the same thing. I'm into a lot of David Bowie, The Pixies, Radiohead, Buckley, etc. and they have TONS of albums from those guys.

I got a Live album of Alice in Chains that I've been looking for forever, and a Pixies Tribute album that I had and lost years back, etc. Nice selection of Indie rock.

The ultimate was finding Big Country's Live Album with In a Big Country.

Sorry AA. This site is actually illegal too. The only difference is you are paying to illegally download the music. This is another russian site that sells albums but doesnt have permission from major labels to sell their product and doesnt pay license fees

              Check the disclaimer:

The Site Administration cannot control the use of materials, presented on MP3fiesta.com. Downloading music files from our Site, Customer takes liability for it’s further use. This responsibility depends on national legislation of the country where the Customer resides.

So basically the site is protected because its based in Russia and Russian copyright laws are nonexistent. The problem is the consumer isnt because downloading from this site is a violation of copyright law in the US.

I'm pretty sure that's just the old allofmp3.com. They get shut down every month or so and open up at a new url.

That's the first thing I thought when I read AA's original post -- this is another one of those Russian music sites.

Besides the illegality of it, does anyone feel comfortable giving their credit card number or financial information to a site based in Russia, one of the most corrupt nations on Earth?

I don't. Good luck with this, AA. But be careful. Using this site arguably is more dangerous than illegal file sharing.

P.S.: Ah, Sandman -- good catch on this site being the reincarnated allofmp3.com.

That would be my fear. A few years ago wasn't one of these busted for credit card fraud?

I mean, you are giving credit card info to an illegal mp3 site...not like they would ever do anything shady with it right? LOL

I'm sure AA just purchased a small 3rd world country in the last 24 hours that he isn't aware of yet.
