    Video game?

My parents watch this show a lot. They're pretty excited about the new season. I'm not into it as much as they are, but I enjoy watching it.

One of the guys I work with lived in Alaska for a long time and did all types of fishing. He told me alot of those guys are addicted to drugs. They work hard, and play a whole lot harder. Some of 'em go thru their earnings in just a few weeks spending it on drugs, alcohol, and women.

Figured it was better to dig this up instead of starting a new thread. Apparently Captain Phil Harris has just died within the last 4 hours. He had been placed in a medically induced coma for surgery due to a stroke he had while off-loading his ship but people said he was turning the corner. I havent read anything specific about his death other then it being related to complications from the stroke.

Just read that. I remember when he had his heart attack. That sad, he was my favorite captain of all, with Sid being second. RIP...

Edit: I guess it was a Pulmonary Embolism he had, not a heart attack.

                  Damn. RIP.

The Cornelia Marie was always my favorite boat to watch, but you just knew something bad was going to happen to Phil eventually with his disregard to his health problems.

Deadliest Catch is back on! That first episode was intense. I wonder what they have planned as a memorial for Phil. If it was while off loading the boat it must have been caught on film.

I like this show. We talk to them every now and then on the radio. Usually you just hear Commsta on the show.

                        2 hour show tonight.

Its supposed to be Phil's last before his death.
Don't you EVER read my blog? It's gotten a lot better.

Pretty sure this is the 2 hour "Phil's Death" episode. At least, they've been advertising it as Phil's last episode, so I'm assuming he passes away tonight.

Yeah, I watched the first hour but didn't have time for the After the Catch...

Man, it was crazy seeing Phil with part of his skull removed, his head just was so weirdly shaped! Sad to see him go, he was always fun to watch on the show! Even harder seeing Jake and Josh going through all this, at least Jake's in rehab now.

Next week's is the one that should really hit hard, seeing all of the other boats get the news. That's going to be a lot more emotional than an off-screen phone-call voice-over.
