    This way:
    1. The characters act consistently and the tone isn't all over the place
    2. Directors won't feel the need to cram all of their fan service for their childhood comic book heroes into 140 minutes
    3. As a result, the studios won't cut 30 minutes out of the movie just to appeal to our lowest common denominator audiences who have no attention span and can't watch a movie over two hours
    4. We don't miss the 30 minutes that made the movie make sense
    5. Brett Ratner won't be the director since no studio would give him a trilogy of $100+ million budget movies...Maybe.
Isn't that how Nolan and WB approached the new Batman films?
