    question about PS3 cables

For a few weeks I've had to jiggle the cable in the back of my PS3 to get a signal. They are HDMI cables hooked to the AV MULTI OUT input. I want to try the other cables using the HDMI OUT input.

Back of my t.v. has two HDMI "Color Stream" inputs (Toshiba, brand new).

My t.v. menu shows options for "Color Stream HD1", "Color Stream HD2", "HDMI 1" and "HDMI 2".

The back of the PS3 has an input that says "HDMI OUT". This is the output I'll have to use as the other appears to be defective.

QUESTION: I know the cable that fits into the HDMI OUT input is more expensive. That's not the problem. Will this cable be compatible with my t.v. when the only two inputs I have on the back of it are Color Stream HD1 and Color Stream HD2?

Can anyone answer that? Thanks a lot.

My understanding is that "color stream" is Toshiba's term for component type cables. Your choice is either component cables or HDMI. Does that answer this? A bit confused here.
