    sonic commercials

seeing that someone from the unconventionally hot thread had posted Molly Erdman from the sonic commercials got me thinking about how funny they are. post your favorite here if you enjoy them as much as i do.

    <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/A0yq8MhilCk&hl=en"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/A0yq8MhilCk&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object><object height="355" width="425"></object>

also, the guys put out a youtube challenge for the best amatuer commercial. here are a couple of good ones.

    <object height="355" width="425">

actually the guys that did the last one put out a ton of other funny commericals.

    Re: sonic commercials

I for one simply don't understand why it's advertised in my hometown. The closest one to me is in Tracy, CA... 60 miles away from me.

That said, I really want to try one of their smoothies someday.

I had a buddy who was taking acting lessons from the guy in the glasses. Everything they do on the commercials is improv which is a great idea for commercials.

Same here, though I think the closest one to me is in PA or NJ (I live in Boston).

I get tired of seeing those commercials, especially the one with the two dudes... As much as they ride around to Sonic, doesn't one of 'em have enough game to pull some chicks? Suspect mofos...

is Sonic the place where the workers come out to your car and take the order or am I thinking of someplace else?

You pretty much answered that with the below comment.

You're lucky- I see their ads all the time... in New York LOL

That and Jack; trust me, the times I've been out west, I've eaten tons of food from both fine establishments. These commercials torture me

Back in Detroit I remember seeing tons of Sonic commercials when there wasn't one within 200 miles...

Now that I'm in Phoenix and live near a ton of them, I'm like "eh". The food's not bad, and I do like the smoothies and whatnot...in all though it's still fast food, so don't go expecting something "OMG amazing".

Yeah, I think the novelty has a lot to do with the appeal. When I was in Dallas two years ago for a week, I hit up Jack like 3 times a day LOL. I was in at ASU for a bit and I abused the hell out of Sonic. I also hit up Sonic when I was in Austin a couple of years back too.

I'm sure if I ate it more often, it wouldn't seem so awesome. Alas, I'm going to keep missing them because I don't see myself moving out West or to the South anytime soon.

Naw man, I understand. When I moved out here I got breakfast anytime at Jack like 4 times a week for a while...like you said, the novelty wears off. Plus now I'm trying not to eat much fast food...not really dieting, that crap is just pretty bad for you.
