I know it was trashed by critics, but this is still one of my favorite superheroe movies to date...but it seems like im the only one...I loved Carrey as the Riddler and Tommy as Two Face...

Val Kilmer wasn't bad as Batman and the Robin storyline was good.
I just hate the way Joel Schumacher made it so "campy". Of course, he took it to another level in Batman and Robin.
I liked this movie when it came out, especially because I didn't like Batman Returns much. However, after seeing how a Batman movie really should be made with Batman Begins, I think Batman Forever is not very good. Dark Knight is going to be AWESOME! -

Yes, you might be the only one. Seriously, it was ok. I liked Carrey, but he may have been a little too over the top, even for the Riddler. I hated Val Kilmer as both Bruce Wayne and Batman, so that also plays into my opinion. Didn't like Nicole either. I actually thought O'Donnell did pretty good as Robin in that movie, where I hated him in Batman & Robin.

It wasn't anywhere near the first two Batmans, or in the same ballpark as Batman Begins, but I like Val Kilmer a lot and think he was handicapped by a bad director... could've been great with Jim Carrey and Tommy Lee Jones.Comment

I liked it. It was a good mixature of the previous Batman movies before its time as well as a mixture of the following Batman movie, Batman and Robin. Gotham City felt a little more alive and real then in Batman and Robin.
However like everyone esle mentioned, Batman Begins blows away every other Batman movie to date. It really has to do with making the Batman a realistic person. In every Batman film except maybe the first and the second, Gotham City felt fake, or really imagintive. Begins made Batman seem human in a real world. Its the same thing the Spiderman movies as well as the X-Men movies did. It didn't try to distant itself from the viewer.Comment
