The saddest thing about that video?

The grandma wanted to spank the kid but she can't because she knows she might be thrown in jail....Seriously I would whip that boy's *** too.

Kid had a lot of funny one liners in this story, but it's pretty sad.

Yep, go back 30 years and this probably wouldn't have happened. If it did, the kid would be sore for a few days, then he would be going to school, coming home, doing homework, doing whatever chore needed to be done, or sleeping for maybe a few months.

Kids don't fear any punishment today, so they think they can do anything they want. Its getting worse and worse.

Honestly, it's not that kids don't fear punishment. It's that parents aren't there to spank them. Whether it's working, or too busy enjoying their own lives, these stories normally reflect how bad parenting really is. Did you see this kid? He knew nothing bad was going to happen... Listen to the effing cop!! It's like he stole candy from the candy store. WTF??? Throw his *** in jail, get him scared, so he never does it again. What the hell will "Do you know your mom is going to have to pay for all those cars you damaged?" do to him? nothing! "They have to pay?" he asks. Oh well! Guess next time I steal a car, I'll try not to hit any parked cars.

Geez, I remember when cops used to be more strict when it comes to kids doing STUPID things. I remember, cops being so strict that I almost **** my pants. When I got caught stealing candy from the store, I had the cops yell in my face "Do you want to go to jail for stealing a piece of candy? DO YOU?" Babying the kid won't help. It will only tell him its ok cause the punishment is being babied.

And if any of you rant about "He's only 7 years old" to me, I sure hope you don't plan on having any kids.

I thought the same thing about what the police officer was saying. It was just a little slap on the wrist. The kid's going to do something again... because what happened the first time? "OK, little boy, Grammy has to pay for this..." and that's it. Grammy needs to whoops his ***, but, like she said, she could end up in jail... and that's the biggest travesty.

I hope they only did that because the cameras were on. I was surprised too, they should have cuffed him, put him in the car, taken him to jail, finger printed him, and put him in an empty holding cell. With this kids attitude, he may have liked it though, he could get his rap sheet started out early.
