    Best way to rip vids from youtube?

    The vixy.net stand alone application isn't working anymore and I get error messages whenever I use the sight. Anyone know of anything that's NOT Firefox related?

      A google search will provide you answers. I'd give them to you, but then I'd be doing your job.

          I use a FireFox plugin called DownloadHelper and it works great for a bunch of sites with media on them.

              Don't you think I've been around here long enough to know this.....like the many tips I've given my fellow OS'ers, I was looking for THE BEST one myself.

              I wouldn't call clicking on a few buttons "a job".

                      Have they changed/updated it? Cause last time I used it I couldn't get one vid to work.

                          I updated my RealPlayer and now it allows me to download videos I see online (like YouTube videos).

                                  Not too sure. Which version do you have? I've got 0.7 and it seems to work alright.

                                          I just tried it and it still works. I think there was an update because the icon never used to be purple, which it is now.
