Well anyone who downloaded the new NIN track a few days ago seen in the comment saying to go to nin.com on May 5th. May 5th is here and Trent surprises us with an entire new album for free. Really glad to see Trent and NIN going this route in the same manner as Radiohead. High quality mp3s/flac available on the website, 100% free.

Since the tour was already announced, I was expecting (hoping?) that May 5 was going to be the availability of a new album. Trent going clean was the best thing to ever happen to NIN fans. 45 minutes is kinda short for a Nails album, but I'm not going to complain since it's free and didn't take 5 years to make!

Very good album, IMO. Being a fan for almost 15 years now, all the material that has been released in the last 3 years makes me really wish Trent would have been clean/had the means to do this back in the Downward Spiral/Fragile era. I bet there was a lot of amazing tracks that never saw the light of day from back then.

I just wonder if part 2 of Year Zero is still planned for this year as was originally the case or after Ghosts and The Slip if it's done.

This album is heat. It sounds like Ghosts, With Teeth, and the Downward Spiral all got together and had a baby.

I really like what NIN and Radiohead have done. To me its a message its more about the music than the lucrative money even though they'll still make.

This is such an amazing album, I'm absolutley floored how great it is. Ever since Trent Reznor fought his demons and became sober, his music has been so uplifting. It's to the point where I can't listen to any Nine Inch Nails albums before The Fragile. It's amazing how you can track a human beings evolution through music.
