best way to burn media?

OK so I have two disc drives. What i've done for the longest time is use only one drive to copy a disc then put in the blank disc and have it burned. This takes some time.

There's the other way where I could put the blank disc in one drive and the other disc in the other drive and it's done all at once which is a LOT faster.

So here's my question, is there a difference in quality between the two methods? If so, which is the best method?

If anything the latter would yield better results but both will pretty much be identical.

Thanks, I've grown accustomed to doing the latter. So any advantage is better then no advantage at all.
