Thinking about getting this TV.....

Does anyone have this TV?? Is it good for gaming??

I did a lot of research and it is number 1 on consumer reports, which is great but no mention on how it is for gaming. I hoping one of you guys would know.

Any suggestions?? Should I go with plasma instead??

I think Jim has the 40 one and he loves it for the games. Especially the Show.

Holy Crap!!!! 52". I was actually looking at this t.v. in Costco today and my jaw is still on the floor. I have the wittle-ole 37" and it's the best picture I've seen on a t.v.

Man, if you've got the dough......I'm comin' to your house.


That's a ton of money though. Whew!

So I should be good?? The TV has 120hz technology, I guess that helps the framerate, but I'm not sure if that translates to gaming.

I have a 120hz TV, and still see very little difference in it. Only time I notice it is watching a Blu-ray with 24p.

Personally, I feel you can get a better TV for less than that Sony runs. I don't feel Sony makes a great HDTV, especially in LCD. That's just my opinion, but I would go with a Samsung if you are looking to spend that kind of cash.

Not really when you open up an account at say a bestbuy or circuit city and pay half cash and the other half credit with zero interest for a year. Easily paid off in 12 months
