I gotta give credit to my cable company. All the stations on that list that I'd be interested in aside from ESPNNews HD, I already have. For a smaller cable provider in this area, they do a great job.

With that said, I love when Dish and DirecTV add HD stations as it makes my cable provider add more or risk losing customers.

Yeah Time Warner is ridiculous. I guess I'll try to enjoy my 1 new HD channel every 6 months.

ESPNNEWS is GORGEOUS!!!

MGM is great too.

I just got off the phone with a Dish Rep and he said they've got 100 more channels that will be added by Christmas.

He said the next group of channels for us will include Fox News and Fox Movie Channel.

Apparently, all the Big Movie companies are putting out their own HD Channels now.

Universal HD
MGM HD
20th Century Fox HD

Haven't seen anything on Paramaount or Warner Bros, but I imagine it's only a matter of time.

No, Bravo HD is separate.

I did have a few of these a few weeks ago...Sci FI HD, USA HD but all the rest of them are new today.

The Smithsonian Channel is pretty cool.

Just trying to remember. Universal HD used to be another channel.

Its great though that they are keeping up with adding new channels but i'd hardly trust what that CSR told you. They're notorious for being out of the loop.

Think The Discovery Channel combined with the History Channel.

They have Auto Shows on there, Animal shows, history shows.

It's a general history and culture channel.

I like Equator HD too because they have all kinds of shows on Italy, Japan, etc. and my dream is to travel the world later in life so I dig that stuff.

DTX3: I have the Ultimate HD Package with Dish. My total bill a month with 2 HD receivers, 1 HD DVR, the Showtime Premium package, the HBO premium Package, and the Ultimate HD package is 115.00 a month.

I'm pretty stoked. I love having Dish. Been a customer over 2 years. Their DVR is light years better than Direct TV and I have a boatload of HD channels now. Customer service is great..everytime I have a problem it gets fixed with no hassles.

Only channel that I watch regularly that ISNT in HD for me yet is F/X and they told me it was going to be up within a month or two. Just as long as I get it before the new season of Nip/Tuck.

Sounds like the complete oposite of TW. Customer service sucks. My DVR is shotty and barely any HD channels. The only thing I am pleased with is the High speed internet...
