Re: Fall 08 Television Schedule
Aside from FOX Sunday night and the original CSI I don't see myself watching anything else on the networks.I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

Not much different than now to be honest. Just replace one Ramsey show with another.Comment

Re: Fall 08 Television Schedule
There is actually quite a bit I watch on Network TV, Survivor, 2 1/2 Men, 24, Prison Break, The Office, My Name is Earl, Shark, The Unit, CSI Vegas and Without a Trace. I tend to DVR a lot of stuff, and half the time I miss it anyways, there is a lot more on cable as well.Comment

Re: Fall 08 Television Schedule
BTW I don't watch much network TV. I'm usually watching TCM or the Encore Western channel or sports and what have you.
I'm really hoping Knight Rider doesn't disappoint me.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: Fall 08 Television Schedule
I am in my 30's, and I had not watched much television, except sports, since I was a teenager.
I got a DVR in the summer of 2004 and by chance recorded Lost, Boston Legal, and a couple of other shows that fall. It was like what was I missing, so I started recording more, and now I usually end up recording around 15 hours of shows a week.
Just to comment on a new show, I thought Life on Mars was quite good on BBC America. A little different premise than some other cop shows. I hope the American spin on it is as good. I'm not British, but it appears that a season of a show is only around 4-8 episodes. That seems to help a show not run a premise into the ground.Comment

Re: Fall 08 Television Schedule
I just looked at my DVR scheduled recordings list and there's conflicts left and right. Wasn't an issue until Heroes and the CBS shows started back up this coming week. I watch all those shows with the exception of CSI. Then, on top of that, you have Monday Night Football. My DVR only has 2 tuners, I need like 4. Guess I'll be doing some serious downloading of Monday Night shows this year.
Meanwhile, every other freaking night of the week, I have at most 1 show that I record.Last edited by billmatic; 09-21-2008, 09:33 PM.Comment
