Need help with an LCD TV

I have decided to buy an LCD TV for my game room. This will be my first time to buy a HDTV so I was needing some help in what to look for. Since this TV is going to be in my game room, space is restricted to about a 26" flat panel. I want a TV that will have minimal lag time and minimal ghosting. Price isn't a real big concern with me but, since it is going to be a secondary TV it will be hard to convince my wife to let me pull the trigger on this if I am trying to buy a 800 or 900 dollar TV for the back bedroom (I know, I know, she doesn't wear the pants, she just makes more money!). Does anybody have any suggestions or any experience with some that I could look at it. By the way the game systems I will be using is a PS3.

Here are a couple that I have looked at so far:

    and

I am not limited to these three, these are just some I have looked at.

LG and Bravia ain't bad. Bravia is just ugly to look at.

I always have and always will recommend this, but Samsung is always a great choice for LCDs. Look at the Samsung LN-T2653H LCD as well and let me know what you think.
    Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60

Yeah, I had looked at the newer version of that one and really liked it, I don't know as much about Samsung though as I do the other brands so I didn't really know what to think about it. Toshiba for example I have owned and have never had any problems with, that is one reason why I liked it, but I don't know if it would be a good enough TV for my gaming needs.

I just bought a Toshiba for gaming and am very happy with it...I did have some problem at first with lag in games such as Rockband, Guitar Hero, and The Show. But that was only because I didn't know to go into settings on my PS3 and XBox 360 and change it to LCD 720p. Since then it has been great.

What size of a Toshiba did you get? I think I am going to go pick that one up!

I got the 37-inch Toshiba at Circuit City. I think it's listed at $849. It took me about 3 hours of looking and changed my mind a couple of times but finally decided this was the best one for me. so far i'm happy with my decision.
