How is it even possible for a man to wear shorts that short without being charged with public exposure?

I think if you replaced Bird for Barkley you'd have the starting 5 for the Dream Team.

D+ the start of the end for Iron Mike

But Barkley led that Dream Team in scoring so why replace him?

The cover is over a year before the Dream Team played in the summer of '92. (Feb 1991)

Barkley in 1990-91 season... 27.6 pts, 10.1 reb, 57% fg, 27 years old, Sixers: 44-38 (39-28 when Barkley played, 5-10 without)

                              Bird in 1990-91 season... 19.4 pts, 8.5 reb, 7.2 ast, 89% ft, 34 years old, Celtics: 56-26 (46-14 with Bird, 10-12 without)

So both are very deserving... but Barkley was 4th (222 voting points) in MVP voting that year, while Bird was #9 (25 voting points)...

using that argument, David Robinson should have been on the cover instead of Patrick Ewing.
