I'm looking forward to two new shows.
Dollhouse from Joss Whedon because I'm a big Buffy and Angel fan and I've heard great things about Firefly. I'm surprised he is working with FOX again after they screwed up his Firefly series (google it for more information) but this series looks interesting.
It seems that Whedon agreed to work with FOX because he wanted to work with Eliza Dushku (hotness alert!) and she had just signed a new deal with FOX.
Synopsis:
In Dollhouse, Dushku plays a young woman named Echo, a member of a group of people known as "Actives" or "Dolls" who volunteered for the work in the Dollhouse. They give up five years of their lives, and at the end they receive a large sum of money and no memory of anything they did for the Dollhouse. The Dolls have had their personalities wiped clean so they can be imprinted with any number of new personas, including memory, muscle memory, skills, and language, for different assignments. They're then hired out for particular jobs, crimes, fantasies, and occasional good deeds. On missions, Actives are monitored internally (and remotely) by Handlers. In between tasks, they are mind-wiped into a child-like state and live in a futuristic dormitory/laboratory, a hidden facility nicknamed "The Dollhouse". The story follows Echo, who begins, in her mind-wiped state, to become self-aware.

Fringe by J.J. Abrams because I love Lost and enjoyed Felicity. I'm also currently catching up on Alias on DVD and enjoying almost every minute of it as well.
Abrams is working on his fourth television show and the two-hour premiere on FOX is slated to cost $10 million. The premiere is scheduled to air on August 26 so it'll be an early start to the new season.
There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of information on the show but it's being described as a cross of the X-Files, Altered States, and Twilight Zone. Like his other shows it will have an overarching mythology.
Actor Joshua Jackson (Mighty Ducks, Dawson's Creek, The Skulls) has been signed as one of the leads.
In shocking news Beverly Hills: 90210 will have a spinoff called 90210 that will air on CW. I'd say it would be canceled if on another network but it's exactly what the CW crowd loves.
I've looked over this schedule and pretty much know how my days will work. I hate my Mondays and looks like I'll be watching some television online.
Mondays: I have to choose between Prison Break and Heroes. I don't know what to do. I also really like Big Bang Theory and Two And A Half Men. So, I'll be watching BBT at 8 (Dollhouse when it starts in January)...and then deciding over 30 minutes on what to do at 9. I'll probably go with Prison Break as NBC's online video player is light years better than FOX's.
Tuesdays: I'm going to start watching House and I'll watch Fringe at 9pm.
Wednesdays: Pushing Daisies at 8PM and nothing else.
Thursdays: Lost when it comes back. I'll probably make this a date night.
Fridays: Nothing.
Saturdays: Nothing.
Sundays: 60 Minutes at 7PM and the FOX Cartoon lineup starting at 8PM.
