Re: Big Boi - Sir Luscious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty
I am actually surprised that he made the list. Not that I don't think he deserves to be on it, but I am just kind of surprised.PS: You guys are great.

Re: Big Boi - Sir Luscious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty
To be honest, it was a garbage list. They had some people who really really did not belong on it. You know how these "big" lists go. BET, MTV, etc. it' always more of a popularity contest than anything. I wish I could find it online, but it seems to be the only BET top 25 I can't find.PS: You guys are great.

Re: Big Boi - Sir Luscious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty
its MTV they aren't anywhere near the end all be all.
did anyone watch the show? Like who the hell made the panel up? I didnt recognize anyone from anywhere near hip hop head status.
If a list was to be made from any credible source it should be people like:
Grandmaster Flash, Afrika Bambaataa, Rev Run, Russell Simmons, Chuck D, Rakim, Mc Lyte, members from A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, Dave Chappelle, Tony Green, I could go on, but point being atleast put some credible people on the panel before you slap a "best of" tag on it and stop corrupting people with such a powerful media outlet.
Sorry I took it off-topicComment

Re: Big Boi - Sir Luscious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty
I can understand why some people got the spots they have due to the fact its simply the hottest in the game for THIS year and not an All-Time list. But I still don't get it. Where is the credibility because I'm seeing magazines use their list as a base, other reports on the internet the same.
lets be the cool kids and make our own LMAOComment

Re: Big Boi - Sir Luscious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty
Not to incite more anger but... There was strong push for Soulja Boy to make the top ten...
They kept stating that it was supposed to be who was the hottest right now, it seemed like they planned on doing this every 6 months or so. They kept going back and forth about why someone was on the list and why they should be higher based on what they'd done recently and how popular they were.
The funniest part was that one of the guys on the panel was the Director of Music programming for MTV, IF A STATION DOESN'T PLAY MUSIC WHY DO THEY NEED A DIRECTOR OF MUSIC?Comment
