I haven't been in the mainstream loop in a while, but I just heard this track on the radio and it was BANANAS!

I think the version I heard was maybe a remix with Kanye, but damn it's straight fiyah!

I'm going to pick up the cd after work.

Best album Ive heard in 2008. I dont think I deleted one song from my ipod.

One of the girls I met while I was in Canada sent me this link for the song, just because she liked it.. and I started messing with her since I was 5'7 and a American "boy"... she was professing her love for me. Yeah... I was quickly set straight lol

I brought up Estelle in the R&B thread. I love this song and there are more on her album (like some already said) that are up there too. She's even got some other cameo's out there. She's about to blow up in the states. I hope she keeps the hits coming. I think she's under John Legend and she definitely has connections in the right places (tracks with Kanye, Legend, Ceelo... have heard others with Black Thought, Little Brother I think).

I saw her on MTVu a couple of months ago...ever since then I've been hooked...American Boy is definitely one of the hits of the summer.

Idk...just something about her is just fresh, ever since I heard that rough cut of Just a Touch (Wait a Minute) early last year I was hooked. (co-worker was planning a new music spread)
