I'm saying though, this movie should either be realistic or straight up crazy.

If I was writing it, it'd be pure ridiculousness. The main characters would be sitting in the living room, knowing something bad was about to happen. The bad guys are posseing up at a nearby bad guys hide out. With "epic" music playing in the background, both sides tool up for the impending battle. Think of it like a scene from an Asian or Roman war movie; zoom ins and cuts, very big style.

Then, the 3 bad guys break through the door like the guy in The Transporter. They're about to invade this dudes house, tie them up, and do some real devious acts on them. The 3 baddies have AKs, but get in a shootout with the male protagonist, who has been recast as Omar Little from the Wire who blasts on them with his .45. Essentially, that would last a little while, then the good guys would be overtaken by the baddies, tied up, then an excruciatingly long, boring scene like from "Irreversible", then the main bad guy reveals that he has to wear the mask due to horrible scarring, ultimately revealing that he's Darth Vader. Then aliens come and save the day.

Now that would be a hot movie. And it's based on true events.

But I have free tickets, so I'll probably see this Friday morning. Hopefully there will be violence.

Well, I'll be the son of a masked murderer. I might need to watch Them if only to celebrate at the end.
