Help: Wireless Network Cards (Laptops)
I'm not even sure if that's the proper term, but the bottom line is I'm looking for a device for my laptop so I can get Wi-Fi access while on the road. I know AT&T and Verizon are a few carriers but I was wondering if anyone with some experience had any recommendations and what the price ranges might be. Also how effective and reliable they are and so forth.
Thanks in advance.I won't ask for Christmas or birthday gifts if you subscribe to the Operation Sports Newsletter (Not Just Another Roster Update). I write it, and it hits your inbox every Friday morning (for freeeeeee). We also have an official OS Discord you can now join.Tags: None -

your laptop have built in wi-fi. Are you talking about the cards you get through the cell phone companies? These work wherever you have cell phone service. Who is your cell phone with ?My Fan Page http://theusualgamer.net/MyFanPage_Heelfan71.aspx

Re: Help: Wireless Network Cards (Laptops)
I have never had one, but you need to check with Verizon. You can usually get the card for your laptop for free if you sign a 2 year contract for it. Then you pay a monthly fee for it. Best to have unlimited data with it. It will give you high speed internet wherever you have cell phone coverage. I think it's $60 a month for it too.My Fan Page http://theusualgamer.net/MyFanPage_Heelfan71.aspx

Re: Help: Wireless Network Cards (Laptops)
Yeah usually around $60, if you have a smartphone and only need to access the internet on the road a few times, you may be able to get away with tethering your phone to your laptop and using it to access the internet. As long as you aren't using a ton of data, no one will know the difference, atleast on AT&T.Comment
