    Small Wonder

Does any1 remember this TV show?

The perfect American family, and the atmosphere was so nice! Even the theme song is a 50's style. I mean even their biggest problems were trivial. I remember thinking to myself even as a kid "Wow, I wish I could live in this world"...

Hecky yeah, it used to come on right before (or after) Out of This World on Saturdays. I used to really like that show. I agree with you too Youv, I thought that kid Jaimie had the perfect life.

That was one of the hokiest shows i've ever seen. I believe it lasted quite a while (100+ episodes) so I guess it was successful then again it was one of the first ever syndicated shows so it may have been given a long leash.

Yea man; when this show was in syndication on FOX here in DC I used to love it.

This, Mr. Belvedere, Who's The Boss.

Good show, I loved the Intro Music

I was a big fan of Mr. Belvedere. Never seemed to be that popular, but I liked it.

There are probably dozens of reasons why some of the old shows cannot be rerun in syndication, $, legal rights, whatever. But I would love to see some of those old shows brought back.

Here's something amazing that you may not know but the guy that played Mr. Belvedere (Christopher Hewett) was 63 when the show first started. The Belvedere character was supposed to be in his 40s. Hewett looked damn good for a 60+ yr old guy as I always assumed he was in his 40s.

Yeah I was surprised when he died, like 5 or 6 years ago I think. I remember bringing it up in conversation and it was like 70-30 on who could remember him and the show.

Also, Bob Uecker in a sitcom. Can't think of any recent or current athletes in a sit com. Maybe Barkley, but not sure it would work. Some have been decent hosts on SNL, but to be part of a cast in a sitcom, not sure.

I loved these old tv shows as I was growing up. I wish they'd put more on DVD. It broke my heart to hear they were no longer going to put Growing Pains out... my favorite 80s sitcom. Would also love to see some Just the Ten of us on DVD.
